The uncertainty caused by the legal situation in the US has claimed another victim after William Hill announced today that it would no longer accept business from US clients on its poker and casino product offerings.
The company already refuses bets on its sports products from people living in the US.

In a statement to the London Stock Exchange, the company said that “pending clarification of the scope and enforceability of the Wire Act and applicability of State and Federal laws to online gambling by US citizens, William Hill has today taken steps to cease accepting casino and poker business from clients with a US address or US issued credit card. Such steps are already in place to prevent internet sports betting by US domiciled individuals.”
